Welcome to this blog!

I'm Yacoub Al-Slaise, a teacher trainer at the Ministry of Education- Bahrain (where I am from!), currently continuing my higher studies here in Nagoya University, Japan at Yokoi/Yasuda Laboratory reading Social Informatics.

This blog is be a web log (notice where the word blog came from,eh?) of my progress researching how to use Google Wave to create Arabic language tools, predominately a grammar checker and a Holy Quran tool.

Most posts will be an abstract of a progress report with an attached PDF file of the entire report. Please do not pass this work as your own. PLAGIARISM SUCKS!

One of the reasons I have this blog up is a way to find other researchers interested in the same field, so please do not hesitate in contacting me through the following channels:

1- This blog.
2- my email account yslaise [at] gmail or googlewave
3- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/yslaise (write me something in the add friend invite because I will think you are just a random person)
4- Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/yslaise

Hope you all find this blog interesting and useful in your studies/research.
